Who handles the money?

The present Mrs H still thinks there are 880,000 tl to the pound because that's the last time she changed money

Jav handled all the cash in the UK. Here it's me. When I offer him lira, 'for emergencies', he still refuses it. Like Lotty he prefers the lack of responsibility.

In restaurants at hesap (bill) time, he just points to me and says, 'Patron' (boss).

This arrangement suits me perfectly.

Not that I prefer the lack of responsibility Menthol, but if it keeps him happy . . . I'm happy!

I actually enjoy not being encumbered with handbag or purse on holiday, and have no desire to start, and I don't really feel the need to go shopping, apart from my perfume at the airport,  so am happy not to have any cash on me to be honest, I just point at Kevin, (and I would ration the Efes money if it was left to me!!)
