HI, could anyone tell me the highest the turkish lira went last year ( not height wise)

I assume you are asking about how weak the Lira was last year - the lowest point to which it went against the pound. Currency records typically note end-of-day figures so the currency could have peaked higher at sometime during the day but not be reported. In 2013 the Lira was weakening as the year went on and was at the lowest on December 31st when it was a smidgin under 3.6 to the £ - perhaps 3.58. It then continued to fall steeply to around 3.85 before the Central Bank intervened with a huge bank rate increase.

If you mean the strongest it was I'll have to find other records covering the start of the year [No need; JohnF has supplied the answer.] Twelve months ago today it was around 3.0 to £.
