I'm with slikmrs and the tripe and Jacqui and the brains. Had an argument with my Mum recently who insisted the deli counter in Kipa was serving tripe from a huge tray. I tried to convince her it was in fact very large pieces of pickled white cabbage but she wouldn't believe me.

Have tried caviar, H but it was a bit meh. Perhaps it wasn't really good caviar.

I tried calamari for a tentative second time recently when I stole some off slikmrs' plate. It was my last time.

And for me, I just know I'd HATE haggis.

Haggis is O.K. actually.  I tried it at a Burns Supper a long time ago and found I liked it.   I have also tried caviar, but was not keen.  I don't mind octopus or squid either.   i used to buy my Grandmother Tripe in the market in Liverpool.  I had to ask for the thick seam... It looked awful but she loved it.
My Son in Law was working in Baku and the delicacy there was chickens feet...yuk.  I would definitely not try them.

Ah, trifle - shop bought ones I mean and I have a bit of a thing about these. I've tried all of the supermarket ones and the good old Co-Op wins every time for me !

I've never tried that Italian cheese that you eat with the live maggots that were born inside it, but I don't think I'd enjoy it.
