Just watching on BBC 4 - what a talent - what a humble guy - how lucky were we to grow up with talent like this - or am I just getting OLD ........

Absolutely fantastic event.  Just watching Robert Plant on BBC Four now.  We were so blessed.

there's a great tv programme about Jeff Lynne and ELO on BBC I Player at the moment.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01n3yf4/mr-blue-sky-the-story-of-jeff-lynne-and-elo

fascinating insight into one of the very best composer/producer/musician/rock star of our generation.

 :)

I listened to it on Radio 2 on the night and was amazed at the sound quality and how close to the original they sounded.

I have been an ELO fan since the seventies and was fortunate enough to be one of the 50,000 or so there that day. I must say every act were really good but Jeff and ELO were sensational!!
