I do agree with the post that we have all had the benefit of advice which has probably saved us money and time but also agree that it is a personal choice to participate in charity matters. I would think some people have their own preference for charities and give generously to those and there will be some people that just can't afford to give what they would like. I try and give to whatever touches me when I hear about it and what I can afford at the time. Since my daughter passed in Oct 11 I tend to give what I would have spent on her birthdays and Christmas presents and with Calis being her favourite place she would very much approve of my donations but I also give to other charities for young people.
