We bought a bottle of Caorunn (pronounced Caruun) gin at Aberdeen Airport last May, to take our to Calis. I really enjoyed it and it is now my favourite gin.   I was really pleased to see it for sale in Morrison's this week.
Caorunn is a small batch gin 70cc and is handcrafted at the Balmenach Distillery in Speyside Scotland.
Balmenach is a whisky distillery and they make their gin in a copper berry chamber and infuse it was Rowan Berry, Heather, Bog Myrtle, Dandelion and Coul Blush Apple (a Celtic apple from Ross-shire).
I thoroughly recommend this gin, it is really good.
I would add an image of the bottle, but that facility on CBF is not working at the moment?

Whilst I was looking those 2 brands I've also come across Edinburgh Raspberry Gin. I think I might give it a go!

Is Scottish gin as good as the delightful Japanese whisky?

Tried it.  Odd after taste and suited more to those who like fruity liqueurs than true gin drinkers.

Well, I'm definitely not a connoisseur of gin, but it's had some very good reviews, so I've ordered some. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to Absolut Raspberry.

This is the picture of the Gin and I have to say after over 30 years Oil Company functions I have tried any different gin on offer and this present one is ticking all the boxes for me.
No idea why it is sideways, but if you have too much you will be sideways too.  :D
