We are looking for 12 months rental of an unfurnished 2 bed apartment/villa/duplex.
Foca, Arkaca, Hastenasi, area. Dog friendly to one well behaved Jack Russell.
Residential (not holiday accommodation) if possible.
TIA.

Kevin, here is a link to a Facebook group dedicated to long term rentals.  It is a closed group so just ask to join.

Good luck in your search.  We found our apartment just walking round our preferred area.

You could try Sahibinden.com, you can search the site for your requirements in English. They are supposed to be "from the owner" but most are via estate agents. We found our home through the site with Palmiye Emlak, they have an office beside the new little boat harbour just where the Kordon starts. I can give you their number if you want.

Thanks - we have visited Palmiye, Remax, Ilkon and Asya and await replies.
They don't seem very motivated (unlike British estate agents.)
One even said I'll call you in a few days - in UK they'd be immediately on their laptops with you !!!

The minute you say you are not looking to buy is when their interest in you disappears.

You have a better experience of Estate Agents than I have Kevin.  ;)

You'd probably do better to find what you want on Sahibinden and then contact the agents who are handling the rental. We found ours, even found the actual property, then called the agent while sitting outside and they came within 10 minutes to show us around. Met owner and signed contract the next day. You do have to be quick off the mark though as anything good goes very quickly.
Watch out for ones that only want to do a winter rental at reasonable price then expect you to pay "holiday" rates in the summer months.
