Eye tests

Does anyone know of an optician's around Fethiye where you can have an eye test without having to go to a clinic or hospital?

I made an appointment at Genc opticians and Sedat accompanied me along the street to where they tested my eyes, a minutes walk away, cost 50tl for the eye test.

Opticians are not legally allowed to do eye tests in Turkey

Cem Optic Helen, if you walk past all the phone shops on the main road heading to Migros from the mosque, it is on the corner, very good service there too.

When I visited the the opticians, they always took me to their optician to have the eye tests done and I have to say that they have the most modern equipment and technology and are extremely efficient.

I was just about to say that I had an eye test at the Esnaf as part of the vip tests last month then realised you said not at a hospital!
However the optician there was really lovely he spoke English and I was really happy with the service, though I did show myself up by saying it was better when he took a thing off the glasses that you put on, he replied by saying it would be as that was a patch!
