Sovalye Adasi

When we come over in May we would like to pop over to the island just for an hour or two to wander about.Whats the best way of getting there?

On a calm day, if you check the tide-times, you can just stroll across.

I'm sure there's boats leave from the little jetty bit just before Sat restaurant. Also I believe if you are going to the restaurant, they'll collect you in a speed boat.   :)

There is also a small taxi boat that runs from Fethiye harbour (near the council cafe) a couple of times a day in the Summer months.

Not quite a speed boat but the water taxi boat sent to meet us in September was on time and fine both ways, it was part of the restaurant service from the jetty near Sat

If you want to go over to the beach there and have breakfast or lunch and spend the rest of the day, just ring and they will send the boat to pick you up at the jetty just near the Sat.  Same deal if you want dinner.
