Trip to Edinburgh
« on: January 13, 2015, 13:52:32 PM »
In February I am coming up to Edinburgh to watch the Scotland v Wales game on the 15th. We are coming up on the 12th and Hilary and Daughter#2 are going round the shops on Friday 14th. So I am going to spend lunchtime and afternoon touring Edinburgh's excellent hostelries. If anyone would care to join me or, better, be my guide then I would be very pleased to meet up. Cheers.

Have a lovely time Colwyn. I'd love to join you but unfortunately won't be around   ;)

I can however confirm that Colwyn and his lovely wife are delightful company and although I forgot to reply to your post about when we met up in Turkey at the time I'm taking the opportunity to say so now and thanks for the lovely feedback.

Meze and raki next time it is  :D

Tut tut Colwyn!  Schlepping round back street boozers, enjoying the beers and ales, what sort of behavior is that.  The best sort, I'd say, I only wish I could join you. ;D ;D

Whoops! Put the wrong date on my first post. I was, of course, referring to Friday 13th not what I said. Thanks to people for their comments especially to Nichola, very kind and generous, and if I ever need a PR agent I'll know where to come.
