Well the weather has been very mixed in the last week, some heavy rain, some lovely sunny and bright but cold days, some sunny and warm days, and some days and nights, largely due to the wind, that were bl**dy freezing. So cold was it in fact that I saw brass monkeys in Fethiye putting on overcoats!! But that does mean it is nice to sit by the roaring log fire in the evening.
Onto pics then. This first bunch were taken on a run up to Ovacik and Hissy, and feature snow topped Baba Dag and neighbouring mountains viewed from Ovacik.

Then on down to Hissy where I was going to take some pics, but why?? The place is shut, save for a few places over the weekend. Although there is on place open all year for lovely food, in particular pancakes. That is the Cin Cafe aka Madam Sins, or perhaps the proper descriptions in Turkish might be Madam Gins??

Here is a sample of the wares, lovely pancake stuffed with potatoes, cheese, onion and spinach mmmmmm...

Back down to Fethiye, and here is a shot for those of you missing the Turkish retail experience!!

Now this next shot is a little unusual, but it was taken in the pet shop opposite Migros, where myself and the Present Mrs Tickets went to purchase various budgie food and attachment, and I think you'll agree that this was a picture dying to be taken

This next set of pics are of views from around Calis of the stunning snow capped mountains at the moment.

And finally this last set of pictures was taken a couple of years back. They show what it is like when taking the route over the mountains to Antalya, when the snow is on the mountains. These were taken when the snow covering was quite light. I guess it is a lot deeper at the moment.
