A2B transfers
« on: April 28, 2015, 21:21:11 PM »
hi can anyone help? myself and family are returning to calis beach, this year we have booked through travel republic(for the first time) and was wandering how we find the transfer bus at the airport. we usually book through Thomson and there is always a rep there to ask. we are due to arrive in the early hours of the morning and we are unsure where to go or what to look out for. any help would be appreciated. thanks steve

As you come down the ramp into the pick up area, the A2b pick up point is on the right hand side, as you look at the arc of tourism stands. When we last used them, it was the tourism box, just next to where the travel company people stand with their named placards. You will see rails that they stand behind and again, I think it is the first box to the right of them. Not sure though of the name written on their box, as I am not sure if it had A2b clearly written on it. Vague, but it might help.

thanks for the info hopefully it will be plane sailing. Am I right in thinking for the return transfer to the airport do you need to ring A2B to confirm your pick up time??? sorry for all the questions this is all new to us we are used to having a rep there to point us in the right direction :D :D :D

It's a bit nervy first time but it really is straightforward Stephen. You just walk out and you will see all the little wooden kiosks as you head down the ramp. You'll find the A2B one soon enough. You do have to confirm your time 24 hours before but use wireless to Skype them, it works fine and costs much less.

The kiosk you want is the very last one on your right where all the desks are it is now called Intourist or very similar I think it still has the A2B and Resorthopper on the side of the kiosk, they ar expecting you as they have a list of all the people who have booked,I have just used them this week, if u have a smart phone or tablet and download their app you can confirm your return transfer 24 hours before departure online and therefore won't need to phone...

We have been using Travel Republic for the past few years now to book our holiday including transfers and have never had a problem - just follow the instructions on your transfer booking paperwork to find your transfer desk (normally quote a desk number). Do make sure you confirm your return transfer 24 - 48 hours before though.

Hi Stephen iv just gone to look at the app and realised my booking was with Resorthopper tho A2B and Resorthopper are part of the same company I am not sure if you could use the a Resorthopper app as your booking was with A2B I would have thought that A2B would also have an app in this world of technology we are in these days!  ;)

thanks for all the info I looked on a2b website but they don't seem to have an app. after looking through my booking it does say that the transfer pick up is desk 19-20 and there is a phone number to ring 24 hours before departure. thanks again  ;D
