My dad loves the water taxi. However, each time this week there's only been 4 or 5 people on the way over to Fethiye.
No idea if this is the price rise or because there just doesn't seem to be many people around.

I didn't say 7tl was expensive...just relayed my conversation bearing in mind Earlier this year there  was a similar thread after the price rise was announced !!

Everyone has their own opinions ..as a visitor 7tl is a bargain but for someone living here on a pension or limited means that 7tl might be expensive.

I much prefer the new service buses every half hour 2tl polite drivers brand new large air conditioned buses, I found the novelty of the water taxi wore off a few years ago, but still go on occasionally with guests.

I don't think non-tourists use it much, it's purpose is for a tourist experience so 7 tl is amazing. Our friends are trying it today to come across to Fethiye and really looking forward to it.   8)

If they can get extensions to the collection points that would be great but i hope they can use a bit of common sense and do a half way drop off along the sea front nearer the new Irish bar and other places now that would be useful.

Water taxis in marmaris  have several stop points.
It would be great to expand them. I love my mini boat trips but variety would be even better.
