Nil don't do this regularly, they tend to react to the mood of who they have in on the night and turn into a party if that's what people seem to want.
I guess you'll never gauge that to suit the entire restaurant, but do happen to know some people were there and wanting a bit of a party that night.
Sorry it spoilt your experience, don't be put off as not always like that.
I avoided the Nil like the plague when we first came, because of stuff I read on CBF.
We're not regular bar people but we happily go in there from time to time.
Really love their staff, good honest food at sensible prices and Angel is just lovely.
As said she contributes to the charities, and has even long term nursed expats here who have no family. She has the hugest heart
Charlie's bar dancing is legendary, in my opinion
