New road surface in calis

Hello could anyone answer this question i have, last year when i was in Calis i was told the brick road beside the old dyke had to stop because of the holiday season, does anyone know if they have carried on laying the brick road on the other side of the old upside down bridge thank you

sorry. NOTHING DONE on either side and does not look like it will be for the foreseeable future.

They are tarmacking some parts of the road at the crossing from the bridge where the little shop is. Also around the Nevada.   Phil, is dodging around trying to avoid these road, in case the car gets covered in tarmac.

Does anyone know why they are tarring the roads as opposed to using block paving which is self draining.

Surely this will cause drainage problems.

Block paving is very expensive, Tarmac is much cheaper.
Phil, we were told 10 years ago when we bought our place that very soon a road would be built across the fields to join the Dalaman Road.  We have not held our breath.
