Something was lost in translation....Ha ha ha !!!
« on: May 22, 2015, 11:30:01 AM »
I read somewhere that there was a new Gym in Calis Beach.  As I recall I though it was near the new Bakery (that is opposite the Yapi Market).  We went to the bakery today to get some scones and decided to have a sandwich and some coffee.  As we could not find the Gym,  Phil asked was there a Gym around there somewhere.  The guy said there was and pointed into the shop.  I said to Phil, that it must be behind the shop.   The guy said wait a minute and disappeared inside.  Next thing another guy appeared and Phil said to him...Yes, we are looking for the Gym.  The guy said to him "I am Jim, what do you want?"
We really could not stop laughing.

So if anyone knows where the Gym is, please could you let me know?

Whilst painting this afternoon, I listened to a 15 min drama on radio 4. A couple bought a house with a Jim. They thought it was a gym.
They moved in, and Jim was in the living room. There was a codicile in the contract that gave Jim the right to live with them. It was set in Scotland though.
No idea of the outcome.
Spilled some paint and had to do a clean up.
