Does this forum have a section for rentals? Maybe people email if they have a place to rent?

It's a good idea Fabian - the problem is that this sort of content does tend to bring in loads of people who have nothing to contribute to CBF, wouldn't lift a finger to share advice or answer a question on here, but are straight in if there is a free advert that might get them a tenant and a few hundred quid a month.

Then when we have a real need for donations, they forget how we helped them.

I have no objections to people posting that they are seeking long term rentals. Even then, some can't reply without making it a huge advert for their place.

 :)

Oh! I see what you mean Scunner, such a shame.

I hope that Johnrc finds something suitable. It sounds a sensible decision to make as it take some time and exploring on your own terms to make an informed decision. One word  to the wise LOOK OUT FOR WAITERS GIVING YOU ADVICE!!

Thanks for all the posts that have been  posted ,the main reason we are thinking of renting is that when we have  asked  the agents to send us any more details of property we like the look of they never get back to us,also some of the properties have already been sold but still are up for sale on their sites so if we do rent we would be able to pick when & where we would like to buy, we sold our place last year ,& hope to buy again because we love Calis. Can't wait to be their in July . Thanks to you all ,John

You may get a better response if you were to let us know what you are looking for & approx dates

Think you are very wise to rent before you buy.  Try Cenk at Interturk Estates, he may be of help with a rental. He will certainly be of invaluable help when buying.
