I  don't think they have intensive cattle farmer in the U.K. as there is a lot of green fields to graze cattle on. I know they do it in the State.
Grazing in turn makes the meat taste good.  Just like battery eggs, no comparison with fresh free range eggs.

Fernando... I want what you are putting on your cornflakes  :)

Anatolia is the main Cattle/sheep rearing region. Plenty of grazing...

@fernandotorres
Nice to see that after 9 years of living in Turkey, you still manage to retain your scouse wit. Unlike some, it would seem   :)
Have to say, had the best steak ever at Mancero!

Well we did go and sample the Mancero last night, and I have to say we were disappointed. Yes the view across the bay is wonderful and the styling of the interior is original. One more plus point is that two of the waiters were placed on litter duty on the rocks at the water's edge.

Someone at the Mancero I think must read CBF as judging by our waiter's demeanour there had been tellings off being dished out. We were served fairly swiftly however we were unable to order drinks until we ordered our food.

I had the fillet steak (sorry everyone but with a seafood allergy I have to be careful) as nothing else really appealed. It had tough bits but was cooked well, the vegetables were fine except the spuds that appeared to be Aunt Bessies finest that had been cooked badly and then reheated in a microwave.

My wife had the mushroom risotto that was fine but nothing special.

All in all it appears to be a triumph of style over substance and in our opinion the Mozaik Bahce still has nothing to worry about.

I would had that a lot of the restauants in Calis including Georges, Bella Mamas, Casa De Mamma, Obens, Nil Bar etc., all on the seafront with lovely views and half the cost of the Mancero, have nothing to worry about either.
