Turkish Tax Reference Number

Good Morning Calis,

When I purchased my apartment I know I was given a Turkish Tax Reference Number.  However, I can't find it now and I'm in need of it and I'm in the UK and I was wondering...Is there a way of finding out what it is online?

If not what do I have to do / where do I have to go / what do I have to take with me, to find it out when I next come to Turkey?

All pointers gratefully received and I apologise if this question has been asked before.

OK.  Now I've posted I've answered my own question
I went to this website
https://intvd.gib.gov.tr/internetvd/template.jsp?page=IVD_VKNO
and enter the following details (in capitals) of the owner of the property
Surname
First Name
Fathers First Name
Place of Birth (YURTDISI = Abroad)
Year of Birth
Hit Tamam OK and it will deliver your Vergi Kimlik Numerasi - your Turkish Tax Reference Number

If you have a Turkish bank account would they have you tax number?

I asked my Turkish bank my tax number, as I had mislaid it and they gave to me.

The tax office is in a big building on the road opposite Shaka on the left hand side,they can give you a number when you present your passport.
