Have you chartered a boat for a day trip recently?
« on: July 03, 2015, 11:08:07 AM »
After missing out last year, I'm anxious to pre-arrange a "special" boat trip for this year and am seeking your guidance.

We are a party of 12 so were looking to charter our own small boat for the day. Requirements: nice food, possibly a bit of casual (amateur) fishing, a scenic but off the beaten track route. Don't mind a bit of music, but not too loud.

Jerry's Boat would seem to fit the bill and I'm keen, but we're a bit low in numbers compared to the size of the boat which pushes up the cost per head up a bit too much, so we're interested in slightly smaller alternatives.

Any knowledge/recommendations? Likely costs involved and/or ways to get in contact would be most helpful too.

Thanks.

Try Sugar Boat from Calis. Captain Sucre is grest. We had a wonderfuld day out with him 2 weeks ago along with Highlander and his wife.  His boat can get in to  all of the small bays and the food is fabulous. There were only 14 people when we went out.

I would also suggest Sugar's boat - been on it many times.

I'm sure he will do a sensible price for your party size.

We used Kutsal boat from Calis earlier this week. Excellent trip and food (his mum's liver is the best I have ever tasted) and very flexible. Price is about 450tl for the boat. I can get his details if you need them.

We at Violet always use Ekinem (Boat #4) which is owned and crewed by Gokhan and his wife, Kismet. The food is is top notch, their company is more than friendly and, as a whole, I can't fault it   :)

Try Captain Midnight goes from Fethiye harbour.  Have been on the boat many times and not been dissapointed, Ali the captain is a good host and the food is fantastic and as much as you can eat, the boat is immaculately clean and great value for money, check out the reviews on Trip Advisor, Also has a facebook page you could look at Captain Midnight
