Yes. If you are talking about 10 January 2011 (the last time it was at that rate).

On the subject of exchanging money has anyone Been or heard of others being short changed by the exchange shop in calis, freind of ours was given 60tl less when changing yesterday but noticed straightaway (probably helped being exactly 4tl to the £) & the man behind the counter knew exactly how much was shorted when challenged & gave the remainder over, have heard there's reports of this on Facebook.

Dikmens change shop in Fethiye short-changed Mr WB recently - gave him a flat 4 lira when they were advertising 4.3.
Overall it means we were around 40 lira down.

Numbers aren't Mr WB's strong point and to be honest I don't think he checked - he just assumed they gave him the right amount.

It's disappointing, especially as they were very quick to point the finger on Facebook a few months back at someone who had been given too much money - their staff's error, the person in question hadn't noticed and was mortified when she found out, went back as soon as possible to give the money back.

I'll be sticking to my friend in Hisaronu on the rare occasions when I have sterling to change. He always gives me slightly above the advertised rate now he knows me.  :)
