Apology accepted. Now shut up and keep your nose out of things you quite obviously know absolutely nothing about.

P.s just to add, without us admins and mods, Highlander wouldn't even have sold one, because none of this would exist.

stuart T

I normally put this sentence at the end of my first post on charity matters....

"PLEASE REMEMBER taking part in these things is NOT a condition of CBF membership and that there is no requirement whatsoever to participate".

For some reason I didn't this time but it is a fact.

It matters not one jot if a member has made 4 posts or 4000 posts. Nor does it that they are an administrator or a moderator. It is, and always has been a free choice to take part.

I can tell you however that there are people on here who have sent me large sums of money totally anonymously.

If you want to know who leads by example on here can I respectfully suggest you search Bozalan on here and then come back with any further observations which you might have.

I'm off the Aberdeen for the day.

Dare I hope that the seats have been taken by the time I get back this evening.

Well !!!!!!!

I got my wish and all the seats have been taken.

Pi55y thank you so much, I am very grateful.

But I have to be honest and say that I would have much preferred that other members, other than pi55y and her husband, had taken the last two seats. given the massive time and effort that they (Chrissie and Peter) both give to the charity.

Just because we didnt buy the seats John doesn't mean that I and others don't contribute in other ways that brings them in other income.   We and I am sure others also have their own favourite charities back in the UK... carry on. What you do is admirable... much love Anne and Barrie. X

Mercury - I am also acutely aware of the massive amount of time and effort you gave to the charity over many years.

I am also aware that lots of people, including you and Barrie give to charity in many different ways.

I just thought that there would have been some new Forum members who had received free helpful advice and who would have considered participating.

I apologise for any offence caused to you and Barrie.
