Camera Shop

Hi All. Is there a dedicated camera shop in Fethiye. I'm looking to purchase an additional lens for a Canon camera. If not I'll leave it until I return home.

Given the (high) level of import tax on foreign produced camera equipment, I suspect you'll be way cheaper leaving it till you leave Turkey.

Upstairs in Erasta,new shopping centre in Fethiye by the main coach depot,there is an electrical  shop sorry can't remember its name,but with the current exchange rate cameras and lenses seem to be a good price,could be worth checking,also if its being taken back to the UK you may be able to buy tax free!
 The have Canon and other good cameras there,go right to the back of the shop.

Have you checked any prices?  Reason I'm asking is that when they import makes like Canon, Nikon etc they have to pay in USD, and the TL is at an all time low against the USD.

If you do see a good deal, be careful as to its warranty status - it may have been bought from the "grey" market and as such may not be covered by the manufacturers warranty.
