I think the bike hire / water and gas establishment, next to the Pork Shop in BBM (by the roundabout) hires them.  Well worth a try, I think I saw some of the double riders there too.

can not remember name of the place, but if you walk over water taxi bridge down to the sea front. Turn right and keep walking and you will find them for hire (approx. 10 min walk). Hope this helps,

Thanks all, I came home on the 6th Oct and didn't get chance to hire one, but definitely will try the shop on BMB in May
