I saw lines of them for rent in Hisaronu last week, but I am sure you probably could hire them in Calis. I have seen a few tourists riding around on them locally, even some with three wheels.(the bikes not the tourists)
I know they are not popular with pedestrians, because they make no noise.
Make sure you get a proper crash helmet and you are insured to drive one and not the just the insurance the hire companies will offer you.
