As a very general guide, you could look at this.  It really is very general - I suspect it is far cheaper in reality.

Thanks Lynne yes the prices are similar with other dentists.
My husband is Turkish and expected Turkey to be much cheaper than UK but some treatments not much cheaper. Maybe because private.

Yes, he is in Fethiye.  We have found his charges much cheaper than in the U.K.
My husband was quoted £1,800 for an implant by our Dentist in Scotland as he said he would have to remove the tooth, there was nothing he could do with it and my husband would need an implant.
My husband went to Cagatay had a root canal and the tooth was saved. This was 8 years ago and the tooth is still fine.  We cannot remember how much the root canal was then, but was around 70.00 we think, then. We have used him ever since.

Hi Jacqui my husband has been told he needs root canal treatment but the dentist in UK is refusing to fill it after treatment but instead would only do treatment if my husband had a crown fitted at the cost of £200. He has been quoted 500TR approx for root canal in Turkey. He wants to opt for a filling as opposed to a crown so hoping the dentist in Turkey will do it. He is booked in  at Holident in Fethiye. The same dentist Cagatay  :)

Hi Rana
I had root canal work and a crown at Holident maybe last summer or could have been the summer before time goes so fast!
The £200 for a crown in UK your hubby was quoted is a good price, i was quoted £390 and at the time i was told it was going to be increasing soon to over £400...
Personally my trestment at Holident worked out far cheaper for me then what i would have paid in Uk...
I am really pleased with my crown, iv had two fitted at Holident and am really happy with both they look very natural and have given me no bother once everything had settled down...
Its also an immucately clean clinic and the reception area waiting area is gorgeous you dont feel like you are at the dentist...
Cagatay is a really nice man speaks great English    :)

I had two implants fitted last year at Holident, they are perfect and have never given me any trouble since. Cagatay is an excellent dentist and I will thoroughly recommend him.

Just like to say thank you to all who recommended Holident. My hubby went there today and had tooth out and filling. He said very good service.

Just as a matter of interest. I had 3 metal fillings replaced with white ones about a month ago... They are still really sensitive to hot and cold and some days have still to take paracetamol.. Is this normal... Unfortunatley I had a bridge done in May on the opposite side of my mouth also very painful if eating or drinking hot and cold things.. Wish I hadnt bothered having either done as I had no pain before..  Does it go eventually?
