Hi Mercury this can settle down yes. Maybe just nerves sensitive after treatment or possibly a hairline crack in one of your teeth which will be sensitive to hot or cold. But you shiuld gi back anyway as your treatment should be under guarantee. I am not a dentist :D but was a dental nurse so saw many things.

Just as a matter of interest. I had 3 metal fillings replaced with white ones about a month ago... They are still really sensitive to hot and cold and some days have still to take paracetamol.. Is this normal... Unfortunatley I had a bridge done in May on the opposite side of my mouth also very painful if eating or drinking hot and cold things.. Wish I hadnt bothered having either done as I had no pain before..  Does it go eventually?

Where did you have them done Anne??

Holident... can't really go back now.. I bought 4 white fillings at The Promises auction but decided not to go back for the other two doing after the first experience... As I am still in pain and have problems chewing it seems like I did the right thing..
After talking to some of his other patients it seems that he isn't as perfect as first thought..
My apologies to his good friends on here...

Not at all, why not email him and let him know?  He is very approachable and I am sure he will help you.

Are there not 2 dentists in this practice? Maybe 1 is not as good as the other! Just saying!  ;)
