Earthquake Tremor 12.26am - Weds 7th
« on: October 06, 2015, 22:42:27 PM »
Just felt earthquake tremor 12.26am ( ish ) - quite scary - was just going to loo - and suddenly felt as if I was having a dizzy wobble.

O/H felt it too.

We're on floor 2 of Hotel Mutlu.

Anyone else feel it?

David

Yes it was quite a wobble. You would feel it more being higher up. According to the earthquake website it was 5.2 centred in the Antalya region

Hope everyone is safe.

Is it any real surprise after the "strange" weather over the last month or is it a normal cyclical event.

Seismic events have nothing to do with weather - more to do with the numerous fault planes in the area.

Yes I remember that confused feeling you get when you feel the dog having a scratch while lying up against the settee, then you see the dog on the other side of the room :o

Even worse when it's the missus - ending up on other side of the room that is, not having a scratch!

Yeah, I felt a tremor here at Violet. It was bit like seeing a shooting star. Did I? or didn't I?  :  :) Looked out the window and the pool was quite rippley. Quite chuffed really as up till then I was an earthquake virgin   ;) Does anybody know any numbers yet?

Oh, just seen the 5.2 posted by Pi55y  :o
