There are SO MANY places in Turkey like Çaliş which "die" in the winter. But nobody ever publishes a "what's on" thing for these places during the winter.

And some tourists actually prefer to come to quiet Turkish towns during the winter.

So why not market "what's on" in Turkey, during the winter?

There is also a Fethiye friends Facebook group.
They organise trips out for singles and couples, for example they recently went to Akyaka for a few days and next week are off to Koycegiz market for the day.
They will also be having board games and get together so during the winter.
I don't know if you have Facebook Snowtop, but if you do maybe you could join this group and post the info on here for people who don't have it and bring FB and CBF together instead of having breakaway groups?

Can't be easy Snowtop but it seems that you have many friends on this forum.

Good luck with all that you are hoping to achieve.

The people who went to Akyaka were all women I believe and it was with Fethiye Expat Friends (FEF for this post).
FEF site, as far as I understand, is for expats living in Fethiye area only, not for UK personnel or for Turkish people.
I believe this is because there are other forums where the Turkish people can and do join and the instigator for the site wanted it that way.
That is why it is called Fethiye Expat Friends.
If anyone is interested, may I suggest that they go onto the FEF site which is also on FB
As for the board games, FEF are no longer are involved with that side as EJ's on Calis beach is the place for that kind of entertainment.
