It's an uphill struggle
« on: November 14, 2015, 19:52:54 PM »

I've been racking my brains (such as they are) trying to remember the title of a television programme from years ago (black and white) which featured cars trying to get up steep hills. Commentator may have been the late great Raymond Baxter.

Can anyone help ?

I read it as cats trying to get up steep hills. I certainly don't recall a programme like that.

kevin3 - I remember it as a weekly programme.

The cars may not even have been on roads.

I also seem to remember that there were two in each car - a driver (obviously) and a passenger who adopted various positions and/or bounced up and down to keep the car moving.

Hill climbs are usually off road or closed roads.

Try Googling  Raymond Baxter motoring / hill climbs.
