View from the Nil Bar this morning
« on: December 03, 2015, 14:19:52 PM »
Mrs Tickets was putting in an extra shift at Animal Aid this morning, so I headed off to the Calis prom.  Stopped at the Nil Bar and had me a light brekky of beans on toast and a fine mug of coffee, whilst basking in the glorious sunshine and temperature at 11:20 of 73degrees (old money) ..... smashing!! ... oh yes and if you needed reminding its the 3rd of December and with the 15 day forecast showing sunshine for the next 15 days .... top drawer!!

So to show what you are missing, I have generously taken pictures of my view from the Nil bar this morning ..... enjoy  ;) :D :D

As I look ahead

As I look to the right

And as I look to the Sun Soaked left (south) .... happy days

Blimey life could not be this good, even in the Land of the Midnight Sun that we know as Uzumlu, where the Sun shines 23 out of 24 hours and the rivers flow with milk and honey.  ;)

I wore jeans today to help get ready for the Xmas fair and was at Bambu, felt like my legs were on fire, don't know how Turkish people wear them in September.
It was so beautiful today, and could see Rhodes really clearly.

As usual, UBT, you have surpassed yourself in releasing the green eyed monster in us poor souls existing in  cold ,wet & windy blighty , but please keep those reminders  of what we are missing. Can you tell us  how crowded the prom` got during the day ?  And how cold it is during the night in Calis please?  :)

Plenty of room on the prom, except during Calis Christmas Fayre.

Things start to cool off about 4, then fall to cold at night, but only cold enough to require a warm jumper or jacket. Frosts are not common, so a three log fire does the job nicely.
