Hi Karen, welcome to the forum, it's a shame you didn't buy when you 1st visited, it would have been a lot cheaper than it is now to buy property, but good luch in your search.Alan

Welcome Karen

Good luck with the house hunting. Better late than never buying somewhere. Took us 15 years to get round to it but well worth it in the end. Guess we just loved being looked after in hotels

Hi

We are really looking forward to coming over, got an apart to rent for  2 weeks just need to get the flight now, prices are  v expensive at the moment. Yes we usually get pampered in a Hotel and never felt the need to buy till now.
Couple of questions which I hope you can help with( on which I can't get one  straight answer from the Estate agents.) Are there any  areas around Calis/ Gunlukbasi I should avoid re winter flooding I've heard that Koca Calis can be prone to 1 metre high flooding re the lake that was there before the houses were built - is this true and how can you tell if an estate agent is licensed/registered?
Has anybody bought in Ciftlik or Kargi yet? Does anyone know of any properties becoming available new/resale there soon? Any tips would be most welcome
