Can anyone please recommend somewhere in Calis or Fethiye that does hair & manicures, our niece is getting married in Olu Deniz in June, but we (as always) are staying in Calis and my sister and myself would like to have our nails done and hair put up, thank you in advance for any recommendations

Diane there is a Wella salon just before the Gunlukbasi main road.Mrs B has had her nails done there and was pleased,I think they are also hairdressers,

Wella are fabulous hairdressers but you do need an appointment as they are always busy.

I usually go to the one on Calis main street which is quite good. Not sure of the name but quite popular when I've been.  Think it's next to Interturk estates. If anyone knows of any other salons reasonably priced then I'm open to trying new ones.

If you are going to the Wella hairdressers in Gunlukbasi, make sure you get a price first. She has just charged me 65tl for a pedicure and manicure last week, not having had one done in Turkey for a while i paid but told her i thought it was very expensive after talking with friends they all agreed i had been "ripped off". A perfect example of Turkish business acumen, short term gain of 35tl as opposed to no repeat treatment from myself, any of my friends, and any other members of the forum who don't appreciate being fleeced

Total 30₺ for both pedicure and manicure at the salon in Fethiye on the same strip as the HSBC bank on the top road - it's on the corner, ground floor and before HSBC if you are coming from the Mulberry Tree direction.

Fab facials for 80₺ too with Çiğdem pronounced Geedem. About an hour and a half and includes great face and neck massages.
