hi steve we like you fell foul to a con woman and lost our deposit ,but on our 2nd to last day found premier estates who were brilliant and found us a great house that was better than what we nearly purchased with the con woman,so there are some honest estate agents out there, so good luck when you come back

my wife was in tears last thursday night and wanted to come home we phoned our daughter to find a flight but the next day the man from Lutes turned up at the hotel and blamed us for the problems which then made us determined that this rotten person would not spoil our idea of a nice life for ourselves in Turkey so we decided to continue and so far so good we met a nice man from the Turkey Property Centre and he took us to a few places in our price range and we decided on one in Calis just 5 mins from the beach with 3 beds 4 bathrooms and a Turtle shaped pool and we really like it they paid for 2 days in the Ata Park Hotel where we ahad been left by Lutes and put us up in  Hotel Manzara  owned by the builder in Oludeniz all inc for free and took us back to the airport for our flight home we only met one bad person so why spoil it , apart from that we enjoyed Turkey and look forward to comming back ....without LUTES ESTATES........

What a dreadful experience. Good luck with the purchase through Turkish Property Centre, and despite all the talk of "dont hand any money over due to the new laws" I am sure you (and I and many others) will be fine.
