Just reading about Calis on T.A and the problem it has with Eastern European Prostitutes!!!!
Does anyone know anything about this.  A member on the Kalkan Forum says Calis is very downmarket. They have visited once and noticed the problem of Prostitutes??

Nothing new, always been plenty of "Natashas" in the Fethiye/Calis area...  so I've been told of course

Definitely NOT tosh Jacqui. Always been plenty of Natashas on the streets of Fethiye and especially Calis. I've been offered "a good time" on several occasions. You'd be surprised at the number of headscarf wearing young girls who supplement their income by offering "comfort" too.

I am surprised never seen anything like this before in Calis Beach.   I would have thought it more prevalent in Hisaronu as the Calis area has many families and couples on holiday.   Where do these women hang out?
However, I cannot see someone visiting just once and seeing lots of women of the night in Calis.

Loads of small brothels about. A lot of so called "bars" are often knocking shops (a dead give away is the blacked out windows). There are also the fairly low key affairs set up in a private house, there was one at the end of our road for years, the "madam" was in her 60's and was your typical headscarved old lady. Strangely enough their busiest day was always a Friday...

The TA article is very misleading,the average man in the street would not know that there are prostitutes.I for one have never been able to identify anyone as a prostitute when in Calis or Fethiye but Iam aware of certain premises used but that was a while ago there is nowhere obvious with the aforementioned blacked out windows.Go back ten years and there were at least four within two minutes walk of BMB.

Eastern European women are more and more replaced by Turkish women.
A 17 year old (Turkish) girl down the road from us is rather "active".
Virginity is still intact since she only provides anal and oral services *rolling eyes emoticon*.

I think what jackie means is that hisaronu is busier and on a more larger scale than calis, it also has a bit more of a kiss me quick hat feel about it rather than calis which is a bit more laid back. Doesn't mean to say it isn't going on though. Although personally the only action I have noticed is the drunked ladies who are appear to be offering it on a plate after a few to many cocktails! sorry to say.
