It was called Evin. Back in "my day" it was 2 lira a bottle (1.5 in non-touristic areas) so about 80p a bottle. A glass of it first made a glass of Doluca taste amazing.

I spotted it on sale when we were over a couple of years back. Inflation has not been kind to the old Dog Killer.
