Copying photos from Ipad to laptop

Idiot proof instructions on how to transfer photos from Ipad to laptop please.

Seriously the easiest way is to email them to yourself

Forward them to yourself into Messenger

Top right of photos app = 'Select'
Touch photos you want to send (tick appears)
Send (Bottom left, square with upward arrow)
Choose 'Messenger'
Search for your own name,
Click to tick
Send
Go to Facebook on your laptop
Search for your own name in messenger
Click on each photo to expand
Click 'download' (bottom right)

Do 5-6 at a time, there are quicker ways but take some explaining
