Poisoned Fish in Koca Calis
« on: October 20, 2016, 12:39:17 PM »
I've put this here as it's so important that nobody eats fish if they don't know where it's come from. I'm thinking about the guy who walks around selling fish in the Calis area. Where does he get them from?

This is serious if it is poison or leaking septic tanks.

Translation by google:

"Fish under scrutiny of death
Big work at a shrine in a spotted the fish in the canal on the scene, and the county department of agriculture municipal teams fish began to investigate the cause of death. Amateur fishermen at the scene and the majority of mullet fish we don't know the cause of death and the dying some fish together and we tried to save the sea, they said."

From Mr Gardener who spotted the fish on his morning walk:

"i had a call from the Muğla Belediye vet today concerning my report of dead fish in the river. He confirms that they have tested the river water & found poison that he says must have been put into the river deliberately so that someone could harvest the fish! They have now passed this information onto the agriculture authority who are investigating the issue along with the Jandarma. This could result in legal action against whoever has carried out the poisoning. it is important that people do not consume any fish from this area until it is declared safe again & do not allow your dogs to swim there. We will be keeping a check on this area & please report any suspicious actions to Tel: 0252 614 14 79 District Agriculture Office.@

Cheers for the heads up Stoop, that's worrying.  If its done to catch fish they may be selling them on.
