Hi everyone i'm new to the group and congrats on a very informative site. Just returned from 2 weeks in Gocek,Fethiye area & have applied for tapu for a house but have now beeen told by Turkish solicitor that this will now take 8 - 9 months is this normal?

hi paul and welcome ,congratulations on your purchase, when we bought our house last july 18th 2004, we picked our tapu up march the 21st 2005, so that was about right,so your solicitor is correct
