Hi I have recently returned from Calis i had a fab two weeks out there.  This is the second year running that I have been out there.  I find everyone so friendly its just a nice place to be. We have friends that live out there so I will be visiting again.  I spent most of my time in the Aladdins Cocktail Bar.  I love singing and as it was a kareoke bar i was there.  Singing all night long they couldn't get me off.  I also love cocktails and they make a mean " Sex on the Beach " in there.  I would recomend anyone to go on holiday there t you will love it.

Hi Zoe, welcome to the forum, I think i'm too old for Aladdins but i know how you feel about Calis, aint met anyone yet, who hasn't fallen in love with the place, I go home 2 or 3 times a year, it'll be my third time 26th Sept, can't wait til i can do it for good. Alan

greetings zoe ,aladdins is a great place and they do some mean cocktails b52`s blow my head off, but i cannot sing, i leave that to the one`s who can, i love to listen, you should try the x factor next year

I loved the Sex on the beach cocktail i remember one night i drank 14 and was still standing how i don't know.  I love singing I used to be in a band that went singing in pubs when i lived in Northern Ireland.  I wanted to try x factor as yyou see some of the people on there now and you just think why do they put them selfs through that.

Welcome to the Forum. Whereabouts in N Ireland are you from? We originate originally from Belfast but we moved away about 30 years ago and are now a minority in our house because our 4 lads consider themselves well and truly English. Very interesting when Enland play N Ireland at football and rugby!

I only lived in northern Ireland for 3 years in Ballykelly.  I am from knightsbrodge in London myself.  Sex on the beach consists of Vodka archers Tequilla orange and grenadine its nice.

We visited Ballykelly about 4 years ago as my neice was stationed there with her (then) husband who was in the Royal Scots. Lovely place - just a bit too remote.
Sex on the Beach sounds lovely though I don't know either how you were still standing after 14!

I was there when the royal scots were there too.  Put it this way i was hugging the loo and I can' t remember that but it was a good night.
