Just to re-introduce myself - for some reason got locked out and could not log in again despite various attempts so have re-registered as susuz.1 !  

Hi to everyone - can't wait for my next visit to Calis to see our new
apartment when it is built next year!  I am so excited :D:D:D

I bet lots of forum members in UK can't wait for their next visit too!

both me and my husband Paul are really looking forward to enjoying our new apartment next year!

As I live on borders of Essex does that count as Essex girl, or can I be an honourary member lol!

Our apartment is on the market site to be known as the Yildiz Apartments  I'm so jealous of your four visits to Calis this year!

            Congratulations on your purchase in calis.We signed up in June for an apt on Lemon 4 and have just returned to essex.We live near Braintree so its nice to hear from more people in our county.we felt Calis was the right place for us and look forward to spending many hols there.your apt is it near the sunday market?If so its near ours in Gunlukbasi.

Hello Doll,

Yes we have seen the photos, it was a good to put names to faces, hope we didn't frighten anyone with ours! Hope your property was n't damaged by the storm, we found it sad seeing the damge to the small boats and some of the homes, but we know everyone will bounce back.
Look forward to seeing you next time we are over.

Hi Geoff and Irene - Upminster is in the London Borough of Havering and has been a London Borough I think since the 1960's although if you ask anyone they always say they don't consider themselves Londoners at all ... ... once an Essex girl always an Essex girl I suppose! Mind you, as I was born in East London, I can only be a Londoner although we've lived here in Upminster for 24 years.

Our apartment is as you say at the site of the Sunday Market. I'm not sure exactly where your apartments are as I don't know Calis that well - is it in the same road  - ... just knew that when we came to visit Calis last year we decided it seemed the perfect place to buy an apartment!

We can't wait to sit on our balcony next year sipping a glass or two of wine
