Hi there, sorry for delay, the drainage ditch people decided to splice through my phone line... the joy... took me 8 weeks to get too very precious about it I am!

Many thanks for the warm response.

Lmaddy, Turkish at heart, British on passport, got the residency waltz to look forward to next month.

We're all settled in, Hazel loves school, she's at Ozel Ata, can't recommend it high enough, I would never have been able to afford private education in the UK.

Loving it here and looking forward to the winter.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.  I am sure you will enjoy it here as much as we do.

We had the same saga with the phone but this time it was Turk Telecom who did the damage! It was still over two months to get it sorted and then only because we knew a man who knew a man at said company. :)

Makes you wonder what's happening doesn't it!
We are having an Indian Summer here with temps hardly dropping under double figures at night and when I go to work in the dark, the car says it's 16 degrees outside. Is this global warming, admitedly we have had some heavy rain at night sometimes.
But looking at the weather forecast for night temps in Calis/Fethiye area, well what can I say..LOL
