Hi there i wont be able to  register my phone by 13th DEC I'm not
back out there till April what happens then does anyone know i always get turkcell when there .

I think that you are able to register after the 13th. Your phone will then be unblocked. You will probably need proof of ownership, receipts etc.

I believe this is the case but I could be mistaken.

Ok Guys I've been on the IMEI site tonight (first time I've been able to get onto it in the last week)  And I get
KAYIT BULUNAMADI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Registered and not found!!!!

I'm not in Turkey til the 24 Dec and have been using a Turkcell card in my UK mobile (and no I don't have the receipt, I think it was an upgrade)!!

I have lost the plot on this one!! my phone was not registered, i did not queue up to pay my 5YTL so did nothing, i now have a message that my phone is registered and I have not had any credits taken either!  i purchased 100 extra credits thinking they may take off the next lot i purchase but NO, so it is now 16th December and still working.. I give up..

Ali I have not a clue! it is still working and the credits are still there,  I am not worrying, just miffed...lol

Since registration, our kontors have not been taken off. This includes all other calls we have made.

Probably best to keep topping them ujp because no doubt they will all be deducted at once.

Beware!!

I arrived 24 Dec - turned on phone ......... no messages!!

Bought some more units on 28 cos I thought I'd better have some just in case.  Checked and I had 219 units................................

3 x texts and 2 x calls (short) later I am down to 159 units

I had no message to say anything?  Confused or what.  I'm with Turkcell and they don't seem to have a clue in the phone shops I went into in Istanbul!!!!!!!!

Tried to ring Turkcell but after hanging on for about 15 mins I gave up.

How's everyone else getting on?

PS haven't tried going on line yet to see if the phone is actually registered yet - that'll be a game for later with a glass of wine
