Hi everyone!
« on: November 02, 2005, 00:12:21 AM »
Hi

My name is Julie and I was told about the site by some friends we met in Turkey (Jullie and Tony)   We met them at the airport on the way out and they were very excited because they were going back to Turkey to furnish the apartment they had bought in Hisaronou.  I thought they were mad at the time.   I have since revised that opinion and on my very first visit to Turkey I am totally smitten!   Now I'm the mad one because I'm hoping to buy an apartment soon which will be built next year and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me so far in life (apart from my son being born, oh yes and my wedding day of course....and then there was the time....oh you get the picture! lol)
Anyway, if anyone fancies a chat about Calis or Turkey please get in touch.   take care Julie xx

Julie
The search button is at the top right hand side about 2" down. Please spend a few days researching on here  plus putting up searches on search engines.

I really hope things work out well for you but I think every member on here will say to you - DON'T DO IT!

We're honestly not trying to stop your dream, just concerned you might possibly be getting ripped off.

Scunner set up this website to stop people getting into the situation that from your other post it appears you may be getting into.

Please do LOTS of research BEFORE you hand over a penny.

I wish you well & am sure you will get your dream property but make sure that YOU get the property not anyone else does with your money.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.....I have to disagree that most members will say Don't do it. Yes do your research, ask lots of questions of those who have done it and then if you are happy GO FOR IT:D  There are hundreds of members who have, with no regrets. There are many of us who have made the move a permenent one and love every minute. :)

ADDITION Have just read  and posted a reply under...To buy or not to buy in Calis...Read both my posts together. and what seems like conflicting replies will I hope make sense. :)

Hi Julie

Welcome to the forum.  Buying our place has been the best thing we've ever done but you do need to do your research and ensure you buy through a reputable agent/developer.  Good luck.

My post on here has been taken a bit wrongly.

When I said DON'T DO IT - I meant hand the money for your apartment to a man you met on a bus.

DO IT via a REPUTABLE agent, no-one on here would like to see you ripped off.

Hi again,
I wondered what all the fuss was about, until I looked at Julie's other posting...very confusing 'til then.
Nothing to add, as it has all been said on the other posting.
I'm sure Julie will be taking it all on board, good luck Julie.
