Hi my name is Sue,I have spent the last 5 years living in Bodrum and love the place but this year a very good friend of mine bought an apartment in Calis, and since visiting her I think next year there may be a move on the calender for me.

Hi Sue,

Welcome - you will find that the people here are nearly all Calis lovers.

Never been to Bodrum (I think i have been to Marmaris many years ago) so have no idea what it is like. It is meant to be very busy & cosmopolitan - I think someone described it as the St Tropez of Turkey!

It would be nice to know what you like about Calis.

Have fun.

Hi Sue and welcome to the Forum. Fethiye is a working Turkish town unlike Bodrum which is centred on tourism. Sure we have tourism here but it tends to revolve round every day life which I personnaly love and it is now our permanent home. :)

Hi Sue

Welcome to the forum.  We have visited Bodrum a few times as part of a Gulet holiday - it was very lively!

Hello Sue,
Welcome to the forum. I have been to Bodrum also, but prefer the Fethiye area.
All the best if you make a move this way.
