Hi - buying in Dalaman
« on: February 18, 2006, 11:46:38 AM »
We thought this was just for you Calis Beach fans so haven't introduced ourselves yet!
We are moving to Dalaman later this year and forums such as these are the best way to find out things.
We are really looking forward to meeting new people and not just in Dalaman. Calis Beach sounds nice and we look forward to meeting up with some of you in the near future.
We are presently renting in Scarborough so we can just up sticks and go. Not that we're keen!

See you soon!

Mike (and Hilary)

Hi Mike and Hilary

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your move.  There's a search facility at the top which is useful.

Hello Mike and Hilary, welcome to the forum, (I understand you've PM'd me but my home computer is up the swanny at the moment so forgive me if I don't respond to it for a few days).

I'm purchasing in Dalaman on the Meadowside complex and have bought through Dalaman estates, this is on the "opposite side of Dalaman to the airport" in a complex of 8 semi detached villas.

Where abouts is your villa situated?

Gary

Hi Gary,

I know someone else who is buying with Dalaman Estates.
Not sure if she's on this forum but she calls herself Rosehill Girl on the TLF (Turkish Living Forum).
We've bought a villa through Curbanoglu on their Hillside development (20 villas and bungalows) and we are moving out permanently later this year. The complex is up in the foothills of the mountains near Akkaya to the North of Dalaman. Lovely spot and we are very pleased with it. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to Dalaman centrum so it can't be very far from your place. Hillside is beyond the main Dalyan-Gocek road from Dalaman. Is yours on the Dalaman side?
Anyway we look forward to seeing you over there sometime.
We have already met quite a few people buying on the same development(and others)and everyone
is very helpful and friendly.

Regards

Mike

Hi, we bought through Dalaman Estates last year (Mosaic apartments) and found them to be really friendly and helpful. We're going out in May to furnish the place and can't wait.

mike and hilary, Did you find it easy furnishing your place, and did you get any of your furniture made, or "just off the shelf"? Any tips for good places if you got it made would be appreciated, Cheers.
