Hello to all
« on: May 14, 2006, 20:28:22 PM »
Found this site last night, read all entries with great interest.

We have owned an appt in Tasyaka for 2 years and love it. Best thing we ever done. We are to return in June and can't wait.

We are a family of 4 and love the way of life in Turkey. Our last visit involved me teaching my 7yr old to swim and he is counting the days until he can jump in the pool.

I just want to sit in the Deep Blue with a beer and watch the world cup, I'm sure my wife has other idea's!!!!!!

My aim is to find out more about the Starfish centre. I found it last October and wormed my way in for a visit. Bang down to earth!

Anyway I will continue to read on a regular basis.

Regards to all,
Fletcher Mob.

Thank you Puma, I will know tomorrow if I have a ticket to Paris to watch my beloved Arsenal play Barca, if we can win then I will be in holiday mode from Thurs on.
I am not sure where the bambu is located but have heard of it? where in the area did you buy?
We do have a web site; www. and my 2 monsters are in the photo album section. Yes I have brain washed my youngest with the Arsenal theme.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for the welcome.

We do always enjoy, but it is now time for me to find out more about the area and what makes it tick. I have 2 sons of which my eldest (10) has downs syndrome, hence my interest in the starfish centre. 18 Months ago I saw a Turkish mother with what I think was her daughter, also downs syndrome, I so much wanted to communicate with her. We both both stood with her daughter in between us, her not knowing why I had taken such an interest in the 2 of them. Not having the capability of talking to them in their language, it seemed an age before I had the idea of showing the mother a photo of Carlton. In a split second, her look of confusion turned to one of a shared loving interest for our special children. This meeting has haunted me ever since and I know there was a purpose, it is the meaning of the purpose I seek.

Listen to me going on, My biggest worry is that I will start smoking again when I get there.

Fletch.

Hi Fran,

Lets hope we are watching Mr Gerrard do the same in the world cup!

Great game Saturday, wanted the Hammer's myself but that is only cos i'm a cockney at heart.
Although for years now I have lived here in sunny Lincolnshire and have that northern twang!

I will give the Bambu a bash when I go down to see friends at the letoon.

Oh well here's to my last chance of a ticket for Wednesday night, I really do not want to watch it on tv. I hope that we have the Liverpool attitude to carry us through the game.
