Hi Menthol
Could you tell me what beach you took your photos on ?
And how would we get there
Thanks

They aren't my photos Fishman - I found them on the internet. But I think TC (Tuzlachap) took his own photos and looks like he goes there regularly. I've done you a little map but I'm sure someone else would tell you (and me) the best way to travel there - dolmus or taxi and looks achievable walking too, which would be good.

I have serious issues of envy verging on green faced jealousy, TC! Lovely pics.

Is Kulei Plaji walkable from Fethiye?

Hi Menthol,

Walk if you want mate but you had better start early in the morning. There are Dolmuses on the hour travelling round  the headland but I do not know  where to board them as we  always drive there.

There are lots of car hire companies so I am not going to favour one over the other. Suffice to say that next week  we are  going to buy a Dacia Dokker which will suit our needs 3xfold and we don't have to walk anywhere.

If we can help ease your moving to Fethiye/Calis, please PM me.

TC

Thank you TC - that's a very kind offer! You may regret it, but thank you very much!

And happy driving in the Dacia Dokker. Sounds like the perfect kind of car for Turkey.

My fave is Cocuk Samanlik Beach, its pebbly but you are very near the sea, easy to get to, Karagozler bus from small bus station will take you right down to here.  We love the sheds, as we laughingly call them.  Spent many happy days here with riends, (two of whom have gone AWOL  :) Love to see the Turks turn up with mats, bar-b-q's, full plastic dinner service, kettles, teapots and fresh food, the women prepare and the hunters cook. Remember Mr Bean(Mr Fasulye) Anne, Barry, Jan and Rod ;D ;D ;D. Bar-b-q hire, Toilets and CafĂ©. You can stroll round the headland, read, swim or do whatever you want(within reason lol).  On the cards for Sept, when family are out as they love it too.  Very busy in Aug as many Turkish people are on holiday too.
