I'm sure Crabbit will reply in due course.

I tried the method last week but after clicking on "approve" it told me to take my phone to the nearest Turcell point and show them my receipt - I could still use my account though!

Is it registered?? I don't think so but it was still working last night.

The Turcell shops will push to sell you a new phone for 100ytl - that's my path next time if this goes pear shaped again!

Ok I went to Mugla yesterday, I took my phones to a TURKCELL EXTRA shop. I gave the woman my phones, the letter from Dalaman with the stamp on it and my passport.She took copies of every thing and got me to sign a piece of paper, and that was it she said that they will be unblocked within a week (we will see) the paper work has to go to Ankara and then its down to people in Ankara to say wheather or not to unblock they. Turkcell will do all the paper work for you at no cost ( well they didnt charge me any money)

I tried Crabbit's formula above but unfortunately I cannot register my phone. Oh well. We'll have to bite the bullet and buy one in Turkey if it's blocked next time we go out.
