Today the 12th Sept it would appear that the road building program has started.  There has been white gravel very neatly laid up the middle of the road on the mountain side of the valley (the new road from the Arpi to Forest hill).  Also all little roads seem to have been treated to to a layer of some sort of hardcore.  Let hope this is finally the real thing.

Just a quick up date, and not a pig in sight.  As you are looking up the mountain all the roads on the left hand side, both main ones and side roads, now have a pile of gravel running through the middle.  It is similar to the gravel used when the powers that be are going to tarmac a road, either that or they are making mini roads for bikes and scooters.  I think this may be it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  For anyone living in Forest Hill (Turkey not London) you have a line of gravel as well, so you had better hope it don't rain or your gravel will end up in my front garden. Keep everything crossed. That's all for now Mia

Sounds exciting stuff!! Not holding breath just yet though...
Interesting though was that one of our neighbours did say a couple of months ago that roads were going to done by end of the year.
